Brett Barnes is the Director of Insite Projects Australia, bringing over 20 years of experience across commercial construction, fit-outs, refurbishments and new build projects. With a background spanning both on-site delivery and business leadership, he specialises in aligning project outcomes with client commercial objectives. Brett is known for his strong commercial acumen, expertise in Construction Management and Design & Construct delivery, and ability to lead projects in live environments while driving value and performance. His project experience includes Watsonia RSL and the Miele Australia Head Office, along with leading the integration of systems such as Procore and Breadcrumb and achieving AS45001 and AS9001 certifications. A qualified Commercial and Domestic Builder with an Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction, Brett leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes while building long-term client relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching soccer, travelling, following sport, and spending time with his family.

Luke Goldsbrough

Luke is a Director with over 22 years of experience across shopfitting and Tier 1 and 2 construction. With strengths in business development, sales, and management, he plays a key role in building client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard. He has worked on major projects including The Sporting Globe Frankston, Crown Perth, Crown Casino Sydney, Jupiters Casino Gold Coast, and multiple Crown Melbourne and Meat & Wine Co venues. Luke holds a Diploma in Building and Construction, a commercial builder’s limited licence, and a Certificate III in Joinery/Shopfitting. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family and friends, following the Melbourne Football Club, boating, cars, and caravanning.

Matt Bainton

Senior Project Manager

Matt is an experienced Project Manager with over 23 years in the construction industry, with a background spanning joinery manufacturing, site management, and project management. With a strong focus on overseeing projects from start to finish, he brings a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the full construction lifecycle to every project. He has delivered a wide range of retail and hospitality projects including The Sporting Globe (Frankston, Bendigo and Richmond), TGI Fridays (Frankston and Melbourne Central), Laurent Patisserie, Kookai and Bonds fitouts, Grand Junction Hotel, Schnitz, and Miele. A qualified shopfitter, cabinet maker, stair builder and carpenter, Matt combines technical expertise with practical experience. Outside of work, he enjoys camping and AFL.

With more than 15 years of experience across the culinary, hospitality and commercial kitchen industry, Micheal has built a career that combines hands-on expertise with leadership in foodservice design, equipment and construction project management. Starting in kitchens across the Whitsundays, South East Queensland and Melbourne, he progressed to Executive Chef before transitioning into the commercial food equipment sector, where he advanced to State Sales Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. He later moved into design and construction with Mariljohn, specialising in commercial kitchen and bar projects. Now a Project Manager at Insite Projects Australia, Micheal oversees end-to-end delivery of fitout and construction projects, focusing on safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes while building strong client relationships. He holds a Certificate IV in Process Manufacturing and brings a strong focus on systems thinking, workflow optimisation and delivering practical, lasting value.

With extensive experience across the construction and shopfitting sectors, Warren combines practical, hands-on knowledge with strong commercial awareness, contributing to high-quality outcomes and consistent project performance.

Savannah Gregory

Savannah Gregory is a highly experienced Contract Administrator with over 15 years in the construction industry, specialising in retail, hospitality, and commercial fitouts. Her expertise spans contract administration, project management, coordination, and delivery, with a strong focus on efficiency, organisation, and attention to detail. Known for her problem-solving mindset and clear communication, she builds strong client relationships and ensures projects run smoothly from start to finish. Savannah has contributed to notable projects including Landmark by Lexus Flemington (2022 and 2023), Geelong Advertiser, and Country Road stores in Chatswood and Brisbane CBD (2025). She holds a Diploma of Project Management, Diploma of Interior Design, and a Certificate IV in Building and Construction. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, netball, design, and weekend adventuring.

Jonathon Simjanoski

Contract Administrator

David Nihill is a Senior Site Manager with over 30 years of experience across commercial, retail, education, medical and infrastructure sectors. A trade-qualified Carpenter and Joiner, he brings a strong hands-on foundation and extensive experience delivering projects from early works through to completion, with a proven track record on projects valued up to $55 million. David has worked across large-scale new builds, refurbishments and multi-level fitouts, including involvement in renewable energy projects both in Australia and internationally. Known for his strong leadership, he manages large teams and oversees 100+ contractors on site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high standards of quality and safety. He holds a Certificate IV in Leadership (OHS) and multiple high-risk work licences. Outside of work, David enjoys restoring cars, home renovations, staying active and spending time with family.

Brent-Lee Battle

Brent-Lee Battle is a highly experienced Site Manager with over 25 years in the construction industry. A qualified shopfitter, joiner and stair builder, he brings extensive experience across all aspects of shopfitting, with a strong focus on hospitality, office fit-outs and commercial construction. Known for his practical leadership and ability to effectively coordinate trades and sequencing, Brent-Lee consistently delivers high-quality outcomes on complex sites. His project experience includes Sporting Globe Bendigo and Frankston, and Schnitz Mildura. He holds a Certificate III in Building and Construction and completed his VCE at Mount Lilydale Mercy College. Outside of work, he enjoys gym training, archery, camping and spending time with family.

Rob Gorham

With a background as a cabinet maker, he has developed a strong foundation in craftsmanship and a deep understanding of retail, bar, and restaurant fitouts. Known for his problem-solving ability and willingness to take on complex challenges, Robert has delivered projects including Mess & Barracks (Ararat), The Botanical Hotel, and Zimmerman at Melbourne Emporium. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and cooking.

Davide Livolsi

Davide Livolsi is a Site Manager with over 8 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked across projects throughout Australia and New Zealand. With a background in carpentry, he brings strong practical knowledge and a hands-on approach to managing projects from early planning through to completion. Originally from Italy, Davide combines an international perspective with a strong work ethic, and is highly skilled in site coordination, subcontractor management and problem-solving, with a focus on safety, quality and program delivery. He holds carpentry qualifications along with EWP, First Aid and CPR certifications. Outside of work, Davide enjoys training, running, spending time with his two young daughters, and has a keen interest in performance cars and motorbikes, regularly travelling to Italy to visit family.

Ashley Finn

Ashley is a highly experienced Site Manager and Supervisor with 28 years in the construction industry. A qualified carpenter, he has worked across all areas of construction including domestic, commercial, shopfitting and industrial projects, bringing a well-rounded and practical understanding to every job. His project experience includes David Jones Head Office, Costa Head Office and Reset Data Centre. Ashley holds a Certificate III in Building and Construction and completed his VCE at Greensborough Secondary College. Outside of work, he enjoys restoring old furniture, playing competition darts, and spending time on the water skiing and surfing.

Dan Bainton

He previously worked as a Production Manager at Elite Shopfitting, where he oversaw all facets of joinery manufacture, before transitioning into site management. A qualified joiner and shopfitter, Dan is known for his hands-on approach and broad industry knowledge across all stages of project delivery. His project experience includes TGI Fridays Melbourne Central, Kookai, Zagame’s House Hotel on Lygon Street, and Kieser. Dan holds a Certificate III in Building and Construction. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, camping and football.

Robson Charlton

Robson Charlton is an experienced Estimator with over 20 years in the construction industry, supporting builders with accurate, reliable cost planning and tender submissions. His background spans big box retail, fast food and restaurant rollouts, petrol stations, new build construction and internal fit-outs, giving him a strong understanding of both commercial and on-site demands. Known for his thorough and methodical approach, Robson focuses on buildability, risk identification and protecting project margins while enabling competitive pricing. His project experience includes high-volume fast food and petrol station rollouts, along with notable projects such as the Stokehouse Restaurant in St Kilda and the SBS Recording Studio fitout. He holds a Diploma of Building and Construction from RMIT University. Outside of work, Robson enjoys mountain biking, coaching his daughter’s basketball team and spending time with his twin daughters.

Isaac Chua

Isaac holds a Diploma in Building and Construction and a Certificate II in Electrotechnology. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor adventures including rock climbing, hiking and road trips.

Known for his reliability and attention to detail, Damian supports smooth day-to-day site coordination and consistently contributes to successful project outcomes.

Louise is an experienced Accounts Manager with over 10 years in the industry, specialising in financial process management and supporting smooth business operations. With a strong attention to detail and accuracy, she plays a key role behind the scenes, ensuring financial systems are efficient, reliable and well-coordinated across projects. Louise brings a deep understanding of financial processes and is known for her consistent support to the wider team. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through Pilates and spending time with her kids, whether that’s at the beach, by the pool, water skiing, or heading off on family adventures and creating lasting memories.

Outside of work, she balances business, study and family life, raising three children while managing the demands of a growing company.
